ooh- a day in wellington!
i used to walk underneath that globe every day when i lived in wellington- it's such a pretty sculpture.

Myra

We have been having such beautiful days and clear bue skies, but the cloud doesnt detract from the sculptures beauty. Hope it was a nice lunch.

Poppy Black

For a moment I had visions of outer space! I do love that sculpture. We have a huge leafy sculpture called The Chalice in Cathedral Square that I think is fantastic. It has divided opinion, as art often does. You will hopefully get to see it in March. Had a great day at school, although am utterly exhausted. I've got a few bruises from yesterday, but didn't get any more today. Someone decided to throw a tantrum and try out their teeth on me! Monty says hurry up and get to bed. He shouts instructions when I don't do what he wants. XXX Oh, he is shouting because he sleeps hugged by me.

Violet & Rose

Ohhhhh. My fave. My old friend. I have so many photos. It looks so spectacular on a vivid blue day. Whenever anyone came over to visit us, they always had a photo taken "holding up" the ball. But it really is so lovely. Thanks.

Jo

Fab, especially against that oh-so-Wellington sky!

Steph

the art sprinkled through Wellington is often strange (the paua shells on Lambton Quay look more like mouldy crinkle cut chips) but the fern ball is one of the beauties.

kate

i love neil dawson's work. Have you seen the house outline at the arts centre in Christchurch - I lived in the house that had a fence he built.
