It's the Wairarapa Balloon Festival this week so each morning we've woken up to the breathy sound of hot air and wonderfully colourful sights floating over the top of our little wooden cottage.
Did you see that the moon was still up in the first picture?
There's something very peaceful and tranquil about balloons sailing by. It really is a great way to start the day - standing in the garden in your pyjamas on dewy grass, neck stretched, gently breathing in and out in time with the hot air pressure, cat by your side. In fact, Trumpet hasn't left my side today. Usually he's out and about chasing butterflies and climbing trees but today he's been content to sit on my craft table, watching me choose buttons and sew. Sigh…
Until next time...
Life is good
Trumpet is gorgeous

What a perfect way to start the day. We had beautiful blue sky this morning and it makes the walk to school a real treat.

Looks like you are running short of buttons!! I'm the same, jars of them just because they are pretty.

Have just viewed your last two blogs. Super pictures of the balloons. Reminds me of when Dad and I stayed in your home in December and watched the beautiful balloon sailing by on the saterday morning.
Anoushka's face is a treat to see. Hope the finished item was a great success with her. Oh Trumpet, you are delicious.

I love the way that Trumpet is supervising the operation! I am guessing that the WIP is button bracelets. Monty is very clingy at the moment. Huge celebrations when we got home and saw a delivery in the dirt box. Business is returning to usual in cat land. Thank goodness. XXX

The picture of your cat observing what you're doing made me smile. Cats are so nosy, I love that about them!
